We had a great class on Monday night!
Harriet Cabelly spoke about how we need to focus on building our children’s character instead of pushing our kids to excel academically.
We learned:
1. Simple ways to build our children’s character traits: integrity, responsibility, independence, compassion, helpfulness, resourcefulness
2. Why our kids feel so pressured, anxious and stressed out.
3. How to teach our kids to love learning and how to help us enjoy the process of teaching and loving our children.
4. How to be a good role model so our kids can learn by our actions instead of our words.
